A Princeton University undergraduate student has been missing since last week, and school officials are pleading with the public for help finding her.
Misrach Ewunetie, 20, was last seen at about 3 a.m. Friday near Scully Hall, a residential building on the Ivy League campus, the university said Tuesday.
The school community was first informed of the junior’s disappearance on Monday. The search continued Wednesday.
“She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds,” the university said in a tweet Monday. “She has brown eyes, black hair and light brown complexion.”
By Tuesday, Princeton said in a news alert that the search remained ongoing.
“The Department of Public Safety continues working to locate missing undergraduate student Misrach Ewunetie ’24,” the school added Tuesday. “Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Department of Public Safety at (609) 258-1000.”
Anne Caswell-Klein, the Dean of New College West, told NCW students via email that Ewunetie resides in Scully Hall and that she “has not been in touch with her family or friends in several days,” according to The Daily Princetonian, the school’s newspaper.
The search for Ewunetie comes as many students are off campus for fall break, the paper added.
