Newly unsealed Justice Department records have exposed the haunting details of Jeffrey Epstein’s private online shopping — and the list reads like a twisted catalog of his criminal psyche.

According to the 1,006 Amazon receipts released in a recent Department of Justice document dump, the convicted sex offender purchased everything from regulation schoolgirl uniforms and sex toys to children’s clothingcostumes, and even junk food, all between 2014 and 2019.

The orders were sent to several of Epstein’s properties, including his Manhattan townhouse, Palm Beach estate, and his private Caribbean island — all locations tied to his notorious trafficking network.

Among the most disturbing revelations are four full school uniforms for young girls, shipped to Epstein’s New York home in 2018. That same week, he purchased a $61 “Sonic prostate massager” described for “home use prostate health.”

“These items, when seen together, reflect a dark overlap between child-coded imagery and sexualized paraphernalia,” said Dr. Desiree Nazarian, a clinical trauma psychologist who studies coercive behavior. “It’s chilling. It speaks to power, dominance, and an obsession with control.”

Epstein’s purchases also included “Vagifirm” vaginal tightening pills, a black-and-white prisoner costume, and an FBI outfit. In later years, he added military-style binoculars and books by Vladimir Nabokov, including Lolita, the infamous novel about an adult man’s sexual obsession with a young girl.

Experts say Epstein’s shopping habits reveal the theatrical nature of his crimes — a man constantly playing roles of authority and submission.

“The FBI and prisoner costumes are about eroticized hierarchy,” Nazarian said. “It’s fantasy built on the idea of punishment, immunity, and control — a blend of predator and victim narratives.”

Epstein also purchased a tuxedo and accessories in 2017, along with sauna hats, combat pants, and multiple binoculars valued at over $200 apiece. Federal investigators believe some of the items may have been used to monitor his properties or guests arriving at his infamous private island, Little Saint James.

The receipts also document Epstein’s odd fixation with childlike items — baby clothestoddler toys, and boxes of candy. Deliveries included rattles, stacking blocks, Twinkies, and Ring Dings.

“To outsiders, junk food seems harmless,” said Nazarian. “But psychologically, it’s associated with childhood and regression — a way to blur boundaries between adult and adolescent environments.”

That blurring, she added, mirrors the manipulative tactics Epstein used on his victims, many of whom were recruited as minors and lured under the pretense of financial help or mentorship.

Epstein, who was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges, died in his jail cell a month later. His death was ruled a suicide, though questions persist about his powerful connections and how much those in his circle knew.

The newly unsealed receipts add another layer to the puzzle — a grotesque look at the private behaviors of a man whose wealth and influence shielded him for decades.

“This isn’t just a shopping list,” Nazarian said. “It’s a psychological roadmap to how Epstein saw power, pleasure, and people — as things he could order, use, and discard.”
