Oasis guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs has revealed he’s battling prostate cancer — but says he’s already responding well to treatment.

The 59-year-old musician broke the news Friday on Instagram, explaining that he’ll have to step back from the band’s massive “Oasis Live ’25” reunion tour to focus on his health.

“Early this year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer,” Arthurs wrote. “The good news is I’m responding really well to treatment, which meant I could be part of this incredible tour.”

Still, the “Wonderwall” legend said he’ll have to miss upcoming shows in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. No replacement has been announced yet.

The band — featuring Liam and Noel Gallagher, Arthurs, Gem Archer and Andy Bell — reunited this summer for the first time since 2009, thrilling fans around the world. The reunion tour, which kicked off in July, is expected to rake in an estimated $200 million, with eight shows left across Asia and Australia before the group heads to South America.

“Wishing you all the best with your treatment,” the band wrote in response to Arthurs’ post. “We’ll see you back on stage in South America.”

Arthurs, one of Oasis’ founding members, first joined the group in 1991 and helped define their iconic Britpop sound — making his return to the stage this year a major moment for fans.

Would you like me to make this version more emotional (focused on his health journey) or more music-industry-oriented (focused on the reunion and tour impact)?
