Trump Melts Down Calls Biden a ‘Mean Son of a B***h’

President Donald Trump turned a high-profile conservative dinner into a profanity-laced tirade Saturday night, lashing out at his predecessor Joe Biden with insults that raised eyebrows even among his own supporters.

Speaking at the American Cornerstone Institute’s annual Founders Dinner in Virginia — hosted by his longtime ally Ben Carson — Trump called Biden “stupid” and “a mean son of a b***h,” while boasting about his supposed achievements.

“Biden was always a mean guy, but never a smart guy,” Trump told the black-tie crowd. “We go back 30 years, 40 years — he’s a stupid guy. He was always a mean son of a b***h. How’s it working? Not working too well for him now.”

The outburst came after Trump rambled through talking points about “ending the weaponization of law enforcement against religious believers,” before detouring into his fixation with Biden, who left office earlier this year under a cloud of poor approval ratings and Democratic losses.

This isn’t new. Trump has spent years branding Biden as “stupid” or “low-IQ.” As far back as 2019, he mocked Biden’s intelligence on the campaign trail. But critics say his obsession with Biden has taken on darker tones since retaking office.

Just this spring, Trump even reposted a conspiracy theory claiming Biden had been “executed and replaced by a robot clone.” The bizarre suggestion drew ridicule across the political spectrum, though it reinforced how much Biden still lives rent-free in Trump’s head.

“Every time Trump goes off script, he goes back to Biden,” a Democratic strategist told me. “It’s like he can’t govern without relitigating the last election.”

Claiming Washington’s Ghost Endorsed Him

At the Carson event, Trump also veered into strange territory, claiming that President George Washington “would have voted for me,” and citing an anonymous admirer who allegedly ranked him the “third-best president after Washington and Lincoln.”

“These moments make it clear that Trump is desperate for validation,” said presidential historian Douglas Brinkley. “The constant comparisons to Washington and Lincoln show he’s not speaking to the country — he’s speaking to his ego.”

Despite the fireworks, the dinner wasn’t just about insults. Trump used the stage to announce that Carson, his former housing secretary, will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. Carson founded the American Cornerstone Institute in 2021 after leaving Trump’s first Cabinet.

The announcement drew polite applause, though Trump’s profanity about Biden remained the talk of the night.

Democrats were quick to condemn the remarks. “This isn’t presidential, it’s pathetic,” said Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.). “The country deserves a leader, not a man obsessed with calling his predecessor names at a dinner party.”

Even some Republicans appeared uneasy. One GOP donor, speaking anonymously, admitted: “The speech was supposed to be about unity and faith. Instead, it was about Biden again. He can’t let it go.”
