Ghislaine Maxwell has broken her silence about her twisted relationship with Jeffrey Epstein in a bombshell set of tapes released Friday by the Department of Justice, revealing shocking new details from behind bars.

The convicted sex offender and disgraced socialite, now 63, opened up during a two-day interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche while serving her 20-year prison sentence at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas. The tapes mark the first time Maxwell has spoken in such depth since her trial — and she did not hold back.

In the recordings, Maxwell claims her sexual relationship with Epstein was brief and far less “intimate” than the public believed. She said Epstein avoided intercourse due to a heart condition, while she had her own medical issues that made sex “unpleasant.” She also revealed Epstein regularly took testosterone supplements, which she claimed made him “mean” and “changed his character” over the years.

Maxwell suggested Epstein’s later obsession with underage girls was tied to him being “unwell,” though she offered little explanation beyond her speculation. She also dropped a series of stunning claims, including:

  • She once landed on an IRA assassination and kidnapping list.
  • She initially earned just $25,000 a year working for Epstein but eventually made $250,000 annually.
  • Her late father, media tycoon Robert Maxwell, was a spy — and when asked about potential Mossad connections, she replied cryptically: “Well, not deliberately.”
  • She insists there’s no secret “client list” of high-profile figures tied to Epstein, despite years of speculation.
  • She believes Epstein was murdered in his prison cell and does not believe the official suicide ruling.
  • She compared her trial to the “Salem witch trials,” claiming she was unfairly vilified by the media.
  • She denied inheriting “a single penny” from her disgraced father after his mysterious death falling off his yacht in 1991.

In one especially bizarre moment, Maxwell even recalled first meeting Epstein while he was wearing a tie stained with a “giant blob of ketchup.”

Maxwell also hinted at Epstein’s shadowy financial dealings, using a “hypothetical” example involving El Chapo laundering $1 billion, suggesting Epstein’s genius was in “moving vast amounts of money in secret.”

Despite her claims, the tapes are unlikely to quiet speculation about who Epstein’s powerful associates were — but Maxwell’s denials and conspiratorial beliefs are already reigniting debates about Epstein’s death and the full scope of his network.

  1. MAXWELL is telling more lies. Happy she got 20yrs in prison because those children deserve peace in their lives. Hoping those children ( are older now) come forward to tell it all. I believe it will help them to release the truth. May God guide & bless them all those girls.
