The brother of Jeffrey Epstein is demanding MAGA heavyweight Steve Bannon hand over 15 hours of unreleased footage featuring the disgraced sex offender—footage that could blow the lid off Epstein’s long-rumored ties to global power players, including President Donald Trump.
“Let me see the videotapes,” Mark Epstein told NBC News. “He’s my brother.”
The tapes were recorded in 2019, just months before Epstein was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges—and later found dead in a Manhattan jail cell under murky circumstances that still spark controversy. The footage was shot for a still-unreleased documentary titled The Monsters: Epstein’s Life Among the Global Elite, which Bannon both produced and conducted interviews for.
The New York Post previously obtained a teaser from the documentary in 2021, showing Bannon confronting Epstein about his abuse of underage girls. In the bizarre clip, Epstein insists he supported the Time’s Up movement and claimed to believe women would one day “take over.”
Mark Epstein says Bannon personally told him there are “15 or 16 hours of videotape,” which were originally part of an attempt to help the convicted predator “rehabilitate his reputation.”
“They spent a lot of time together,” Mark added—raising fresh questions about the real nature of Bannon’s involvement with Epstein behind the scenes.
Bannon has so far refused to release the tapes or respond to media inquiries.
The MAGA world is now turning on itself. Conservative pundit Ben Shapiro publicly called on Bannon to release the Epstein tapes “in full” this week, demanding “transparency” after years of Republican messaging around elite sex trafficking rings.
“Release the Epstein tapes, Steve,” Shapiro said bluntly on his podcast. “If you’ve got nothing to hide, why are you sitting on them?”
Bannon, who served as Trump’s chief strategist in 2017 before being ousted amid controversy, confirmed during a livestream that the footage exists. He now claims the documentary will be released as a five-part series “early next year.”
But critics aren’t buying it. With mounting scrutiny on the Trump administration’s abrupt shutdown of the Epstein investigation earlier this year, pressure is growing for Bannon to show his cards.
Donald Trump’s ties to Epstein date back to the 1990s and early 2000s, when the two men reportedly attended several parties together in New York and Palm Beach. Trump has since tried to distance himself, calling Epstein a “bad guy” he barely knew.
But those efforts hit a wall this week after The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump once gifted Epstein a drawing of a nude woman for his 50th birthday. The image, according to sources, was found in Epstein’s personal collection of disturbing memorabilia.
Trump has denied the story and is now suing the Journal for $10 billion, calling the article “fake news” and a “Democrat hoax.”
Still, the timing is problematic. Trump is battling renewed scrutiny as his Justice Department faces allegations of obstructing investigations into Epstein’s elite clientele.
Mark Epstein, now 71, is no stranger to controversy himself. The property developer and former modeling agency owner has long disputed the official narrative that his brother died by suicide, telling Fox News earlier this month that the FBI’s recent memo affirming the suicide ruling was “stupid.”
Since his brother’s death, Mark has kept a steady drumbeat of doubt alive—raising questions about whether key figures in Epstein’s circle were protected by the powerful.
Now, he says the Bannon footage might be the missing piece.
“I just want the truth,” Mark said. “Why keep it hidden?”
Democrats on Capitol Hill are already pushing for subpoenas, calling the footage a matter of national interest.
“Trump’s DOJ buried the Epstein investigation. Now his closest allies are sitting on secret tapes,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Friday. “We need answers.”
With Bannon on the defensive, Trump in court, and the 2024 election still casting a long shadow, the Epstein tapes may be about to detonate the political landscape once again.

If Trump was involved on Epstein’s island why wouldn’t Biden’s DOJ release info info at any time during his 4 years, the Democrats trued everything else to stop Trump!!! If there was direct verifiable information that Trump was involved with perversion on Epstein Island just think if that info was released right before the election how that would have swung the election to a democrat!!! The democrats certainly tried every trick to eliminate Trump and if the Epstein files implicated Trump why didn’t they use it? Because there isn’t any dirt there! Look at the fiasco they tried to make over Stormy Daniels, how much bigger would this have been!!
