Doug Kiker, whose inspiring story on Season 18 of “American Idol” touched hearts nationwide, has tragically died at just 32 years old after being hospitalized in Denver, Colorado. Known affectionately as “The Singing Garbage Man,” Kiker captured America’s attention in 2020 with his powerful rendition of Rascal Flatts’ “Bless the Broken Road,” moving superstar judge Katy Perry to tears.
