Anti-Trump Gathering Evacuated After Bomb Threat (Video)

A shocking bomb threat forced an evacuation at a DC hotel hosting an anti-Trump summit. The DC Marriott cleared its convention floor after a “credible bomb threat” was received. Security teams and police acted swiftly.

The summit’s organizers confirmed the evacuation in a terse statement:
“Hotel security, private security, and MPD have made the decision to evacuate the summit floor so that the area can be secured. We intend to reconvene and continue with the summit once the area has been secured.”

They later clarified that the threat came from an account “claiming” to represent Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the Proud Boys.

Enrique Tarrio, known for his extremist past, was allegedly linked to the threat. Tarrio has long been a polarizing figure. This weekend, he faced arrest at the Capitol for allegedly assaulting a counter-protester. One of his tweets later read,
“They literally edited their tweet. Too late you f—ing scumbags. You don’t get to retract now. PRESERVE YOUR F—ING DOCUMENTS.”

The summit brought together critics of Trump and his MAGA allies. Attendees included voices from prominent anti-fascist circles and ex-establishment conservatives determined to push back against hate. They stand united in defense of democracy and justice.
