Lamar Consolidated ISD officials said they received videos of a former employee allegedly taken on school property that caused two local activists to demand the district take action.
Community activist Candice Matthews said videos show a teacher filming pornographic videos on campus during school hours, but district officials, who received the videos Wednesday afternoon, said it appears no children were present at the time of the videos.
“Our officers have opened an investigation and, upon initial review, do not believe that children were present during the filming of the videos,” a statement from the district read. “However, the investigating officer is working to verify the timestamp and circumstances surrounding the recordings.
If the district finds that criminal behavior or conduct violating the Texas Administrative Code Educator’s Code of Ethics has occurred, we will engage with the appropriate reporting agencies.”
The employee allegedly recorded both explicit videos at Adriane Mathews Gray Elementary School in the bathroom and in a classroom, Matthews said in a news conference outside of the school Wednesday alongside Houston activist Quanell X.
The two asked that the videos be reported to law enforcement and for the district to check in with the teacher’s students to ensure their safety.
“We demand that the school district send a letter to (the Texas Education Agency) demanding her certification as a teacher be terminated and revoked,” X said at the news conference.
The teacher submitted a resignation letter in February, effective for the end of the school year, a district spokesperson said.
“The campus and district had no knowledge of these videos at the time of her resignation, and we do not know if they are the reason for her resignation,” read an emailed district statement.

HANG THE BITCH
I would be interested in the specifics. What exactly did she film? Different people have different ideas of what they consider pornography. What she filmed would have a significant impact on what should happen to this teacher.
Are you kidding!!!!!
To have that trash on your computer puts you in prison for 10+ years = it’s a crime ! But to do it on school property is also a CRIME !
Stop going soft on these criminals !
Why can’t kids go to school to learn
the basics: reading, writing (oh, I forgot;
kids don’t learn cursive writing, anymore) and arithmetic?
Instead they are exposed to this woke
idiocy! And the idea of teachers subjecting
the children to sexual advances is
disgusting! Wake up parents! Protect
your kids !
There were no children involved in the video. Only one person was pictured.
