Five aid workers from Chef José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen were killed in Gaza during an alleged Israeli airstrike Monday … this according to multiple reports.
The celebrity chef’s humanitarian staffers — who worked for his nonprofit, World Central Kitchen, which is stationed in Gaza rendering food and aid to Palestinians — died after their vehicle was struck in the war-torn region.
World Central Kitchen did not identify the workers who were lost in the airstrike, but did claim the staffers died “while working to support our humanitarian food delivery efforts in Gaza.” WCK also alleged their workers were taken out during an Israeli Defense Forces attack.
The non-profit added … “This is a tragedy. Humanitarian aid workers and civilians should NEVER be a target. EVER.”
José shared WCK’s statement to his own account on X Monday evening, and penned his own tribute to the fallen aid workers.
He wrote … “I am heartbroken and grieving for their families and friends and our whole WCK family. These are people…angels…I served alongside in Ukraine, Gaza, Turkey, Morocco, Bahamas, Indonesia. They are not faceless…they are not nameless.”

Chef Andres adds, “The Israeli government needs to stop this indiscriminate killing. It needs to stop restricting humanitarian aid, stop killing civilians and aid workers, and stop using food as a weapon. No more innocent lives lost. Peace starts with our shared humanity. It needs to start now.”
In response to the news, the IDF said they’re conducting a thorough review into the situation, calling the casualties a “tragic incident.”

The statement continued … “The IDF makes extensive efforts to enable the safe delivery of humanitarian aid, and has been working closely with WCK in their vital efforts to provide food and humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.” According to Al Jazeera, the WCK staffers are the first aid workers to be killed in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
World Central Kitchen has over 60 kitchens stationed across southern and central Gaza in order to help feed those impacted by the war. The org states they’ve provided over 43 million meals to Palestinians facing starvation amid the ongoing conflict.

This indiscriminent killing has to stop.I’m sure that a good majority of people living in Gaza do not support Hama’s way of waging war with heinous acts but just want their own homeland and to stop being displaced.Israel is just creating more hard towards them in the new generation.Being native myself I can sympathize with their plight but not Hamaz torture ,beheading methods.

In a nutshell, considering the markings in the roof of the vehicles that clearly identify those vehicles as part of the World Central Kitchen convoy which had notify the IDF of the trip beforehand, McBeth’s opinion is that they were probably targeted on purpose.
I honestly do not believe that the overall Israeli population to agree with the genocidal practices ordered by Netanyahu and his gang, so therefore I suggest we stop supplying Israel UNTIL they agree to a ceasefire and to in someway provide reparations to all those civilians that lost everything in their effort to do Arab ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Hamas will never go away as for every Palestinian that lost a son or a wife or a daughter is a future recruit for Hamas with an intense desire to kill more Jews…..IDF actions are self-defeating
Netanyahu ignored the intelligence provided to him that the Hamas attack was coming…Was it incompetence OR was ignored on purpose to have an excuse to execute the full expulsion or extermination of Arabs in Palestine as it was dreamed by his father Benzion Netanyahu? Netanyahu MUST go if Israel (and Jews worldwide) have a chance for a peaceful existence…..These “incidents” are also damaging the USA worldwide as we are seen as Israel patrons
