Horrific surveillance footage shows the moment a pair of vehicles fatally ran down a pedestrian during a hit-and-run in the Bronx.
The 53-year-old woman was waiting to cross the intersection of Melrose Avenue and 157th Street around 7:15 p.m. when a white SUV mowed her down, the NYPD confirmed.
She was forcefully thrown into the air and into a second gray Jeep Wrangler that was traveling in the opposite direction, the video shows.


The lifeless pedestrian is seen lying on the sidewalk in the aftermath.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The white SUV that initially hit the pedestrian fled the scene and is still on the loose.


The 53-year-old male driver of the Jeep stayed behind.
No arrests have been made.
