Boys Soccer Coach Arrested for the Unthinkable

According to WSMV in Nashville, a soccer coach who is based in Franklin, Tennessee is being accused of drugging and raping kids and filming films of the terrible crimes. The Franklin Police Department is making a concerted effort to locate every victim associated with this terrible case.

Over a 20-year period, the accused, Camilo Hurtado Campos, is accused of recording himself molesting unconscious boys between the ages of 9 and 17. Many of the victims, according to the Franklin Police Department, were of Hispanic heritage. Surprisingly, despite cops finding recordings of at least 10 child rapes on Campos’ phone, only two victims have been named so far.

Some of the victims were in such a state of unconsciousness, according to detectives from the Franklin Police Department, that they might not even be aware that they were the targets of such heinous crimes. To help them identify the remaining victims, law enforcement agencies are now leaning on people who may know Campos.

A member of the restaurant staff found films on a phone that a patron had abandoned, which led to the investigation. The workers had first hoped to learn more about the phone’s owner, but instead they made an unbelievable discovery. Instead, according to Lt. Charlie Warner of the Franklin Police Department, “they discovered dozens of disgusting videos and images.”

Detectives looking through Campos’ phone found hundreds of frightening videos and images, which led them to label the material as extremely upsetting. The photographs were reported to authorities on June 22; on June 23, Campos was captured after his car was found in a parking area near Cool Springs.

Campos has lived in two distinct Franklin communities during the past 20 years. According to police records, his most recent residence was on Glass Lane in the downtown region, while his previous residence was Hill Estates.

Campos allegedly recruited children to play on his soccer team at playgrounds near his homes that were particularly targeted by investigators, according to reports. He is accused of grooming many of these kids before inviting them to his house where he would drug and assault them sexually.

Currently in detention, Campos is accused of raping a child and using a youngster for sexual purposes. As the investigation develops, more charges are anticipated to be brought.

These alarming claims have shocked everyone in the neighborhood and serve as a sobering reminder of the value of being vigilant and protecting children’s welfare.
