Bill Clinton added even more fuel to the Epstein firestorm during a tense deposition, where he claimed Donald Trump once reminisced about having “great times” with Jeffrey Epstein before their friendship allegedly collapsed over a real estate dispute.

In newly released video from Clinton’s deposition, the former president said Trump appeared regretful about the falling out and suggested the two had once spent plenty of time together. According to Clinton, Trump told him they had shared good times over the years, but that everything went south because of a property-related disagreement. Clinton also claimed Trump said he was sorry things ended the way they did.

When investigators pressed him on what Trump may have meant by those “great times,” Clinton insisted he did not take the comment in a sexual way and said he never interpreted it that way at the time.

Clinton also said Trump would sometimes “come out and play a few holes,” adding another eyebrow-raising detail to the testimony. He further claimed Trump knew he had flown on Epstein’s notorious private jet, the aircraft that later became widely known as the “Lolita Express.”

As for his own relationship with Epstein, Clinton tried to minimize it. He described their connection as a brief and limited acquaintance that ended years before Epstein’s crimes became public. He said he never saw anything during their interactions that suggested Epstein was trafficking women and claimed he only became aware of the full scope of the scandal around 2008, when Epstein was prosecuted.

Clinton framed his testimony as an effort to help prevent similar crimes in the future, saying he was there to share whatever little he knew.

But the deposition quickly turned personal when Clinton erupted over the House Oversight Committee’s decision to subpoena Hillary Clinton as well. He blasted lawmakers for forcing his wife to appear, insisting she had absolutely no connection to Epstein.

According to Clinton, Hillary had no memory of ever meeting Epstein, never traveled with him, and never visited any of his properties. He angrily suggested the move was unnecessary and unfair, arguing there was no reason she should have been dragged into the investigation at all.

Hillary, for her part, reportedly gave investigators the same answer: she said she does not recall ever meeting Epstein and denied having any knowledge of his crimes or those of Ghislaine Maxwell. She also said she never flew on his plane and never visited his island, homes, or offices.

Even so, Hillary made clear she was deeply emotional about the scandal’s victims. While slamming the deposition process as partisan political theater, she said her heart breaks for the survivors and that she is furious on their behalf.

Trump, meanwhile, has reportedly said he does not like seeing Bill Clinton deposed, while also claiming Clinton likes him and “understood” him.

Taken together, the back-to-back depositions have only intensified the political circus surrounding Epstein, with Clinton’s comments about Trump sure to spark a new round of outrage, denial, and speculation.
